Some new space hero units suggestions

Shield flare, from a section of the shield being hit, sounds reasonable to me

EAW Game engine mechanics are pretty good, for what it was in its day, its still a nice RTS to play through, but please don't ever mistake it for being like an FPS or anything else like it. !!

Also, could you replace the landing shuttles with acclamators 1's because they were used mainly for transport.

So I'm quite new here and I have been playing a lot of RaW (only as the republic so far because I don't car much for clankers). I read this and started doing some research on space heroes (capital ship(like admiral thrawn in FoC)) for the republic and I came up with admiral of the open circle fleet Wullf Yularen (wookie link: [URL="http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Wullf_Yularen"]) in his flagship the Spirit Of The Republic. What do you guys think?

Also republic could use some more frigates or star destroyers with hangars and guns because it took me an hour and a half to win a space skirmish two v two with easy AI's and I came very close to losing. Sorry bout the Lon first post.

Cool so does it carry more fighter than a normal one and stuff or what?

Also just a thought they could add Tano and blue squadron as like a minor hero or something on the resolute. That could be deployed by like an ability.

We're not sure yet as Z (the mod leader) has been busy for the moment and hasn't really been able to update us. There will be updates eventually though so you'll end up with some info sooner or later

Aaargh! I'm sure a lot of us are tired of waiting and are praying somebody will let a beta (or at least a major patch) out.

patience my friend, rome wasn't built in a day, but Killer has made it clear he will try to get a new release out this year, it's really more dependent on z3r0x getting some time to work on this again as its his mod, he has a rather intense work schedule plus of course a family so i'm not terribly surprised theres been a lull in activity.

So what's going on? Is the mod at a stage where it would be terribly inconvenient to release something? I do know those areas exist.
