A space unit that is a ground unit as well

I am trying to figure out how to code a space unit such that it is a land unit as well, I have coded a separate space unit and land unit, but I was wondering how they could be combined. So in essence there could be corvettes providing CAS. I would appreciate any assistance in this matter.
